Chase asked his sister Melody to arrange a surprise proposal photographer for their trip to Kapalua, Maui. When Chase’s sister contacted me she said Chase was super nervous about proposing to his fiance Amanda. I put his mind at ease by hopping on a call and letting him know exactly how it was going to go down.

Melody and her husband Chauncey met up with me prior to this shoot for their anniversary photos and after that we drove to Ironwoods beach and met with the rest of the family. Amanda thought they were going to be taking ‘family photos’.

I took Chase and Amanda up onto the cliff after a little while and he knew to wait for the ‘code word’ before he then dropped down on one knee and proposed.

How shocked was his fiance Amanda?! I love their reactions they were priceless!
